Terms of Service for the EEA and the UK

These terms apply to Veilink services offered to people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

Current document · terms-europe-2026-10-r1

This document applies to Veilink hiring and to B2B introductions for eligible paid company plans. Review it before creating an account or connecting an AI agent.

Company accounts also accept the Company Data Sharing Addendum and applicable completed transfer contract, which form part of these Terms. The contract identifies the legal entity and authorised signatory and sets the receiving purpose, security, retention and onward-transfer obligations.

01

Who we are and when these terms apply

Effective date: 2026-10-29.

Veilink is operated by Veilink Inc. (주식회사 베일링크), a company established in the Republic of Korea, Business Registration No. 843-87-03690. Our business address is 4F Room 4146, 69 Pungmu 1-ro, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea (경기도 김포시 풍무1로 69, 4층 4146호). You can contact us directly and quickly by email at support@veilink.ai.

These terms apply to Veilink services offered to people in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK). They cover our website, account services, connected AI interfaces and the hiring or business-introduction features made available to your account. Availability may differ by country and feature; these terms do not by themselves make an unavailable feature or country available.

You enter into an agreement with us when you accept these terms and we create your account or accept an order. You can save a copy of these terms. We confirm a paid order and its terms in a form you can keep, such as email.

The European Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. Acknowledging that policy or accepting these terms is not blanket consent to optional processing or to sharing your contact details.

If you act for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it for the relevant service. A company order may add commercial conditions. Neither an order nor an account label removes rights you have as a consumer or data subject under mandatory law.

02

What the service does

Veilink helps people and organizations describe work-related needs, review potentially relevant information, clarify conditions and decide whether to connect. It uses software and AI assistance to support these activities. People remain responsible for approving introductions and contact sharing and for deciding whether to enter an employment or commercial relationship.

Hiring features support private introductions. Business-introduction features, where enabled for an eligible company plan, let buyers start inquiries about seller offerings. Sellers cannot search private buyer briefs or use those features for unsolicited outbound pitches.

Veilink does not employ candidates, negotiate or enter employment contracts for participants, provide payroll or escrow, or guarantee any introduction, interview, offer, hire, sale or contract. Employers and other participants carry out their own checks and make their own decisions. This does not exclude legal duties that apply to Veilink's actual activities.

03

Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. Information about your identity, organization, authority, residence and the actual location of work must be accurate and current. Do not use a different country or a remote-work label to get around availability restrictions.

Company users must complete the applicable company and work-email verification. Verification confirms only the matters stated in the verification step; it does not certify every job, person or commercial claim.

Protect your account and connected sessions, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for actions you authorize. This does not make you automatically liable for every action of a third-party tool or for a security failure caused by us.

04

Connected AI services and your approvals

You choose which supported AI services to connect. Their own terms and privacy settings apply to information they process in their products. Review the access you authorize and revoke connections you no longer need.

An AI service may help prepare information or actions. Connecting it does not waive Veilink's required approvals for introductions or for sharing contact details. Review important information before approving an action and correct errors you find.

AI-assisted information can be incomplete or inaccurate. Veilink does not provide a verified assessment of a person's employability or a guarantee that a record meets every requirement. Our assistance is not legal, immigration, employment, tax or other professional advice. You may contact support@veilink.ai about an error or to ask for review of processing that affects you.

05

Introductions and contact sharing

Participants first receive only the limited information needed for the current stage. A hiring request can identify the company while keeping the representative's direct contact details separate. A business inquiry shares what the selected recipient needs to review it.

Accepting an introduction request does not by itself authorize sharing contact details. Direct contact sharing needs the separate approval shown in the service. Declining an optional exchange stops that exchange and does not require you to close your account.

Use information received through Veilink only for the purpose for which it was shared. Do not resell or republish it, add it to unrelated marketing lists, or try to identify a person whose identity has not been shared. Once you receive personal data for your own hiring or business purposes, you are responsible for your own lawful use, notices, security and retention. Veilink remains responsible for its own processing.

06

Acceptable use and submitted information

Submit only information you are entitled to use and keep material statements accurate. Do not submit sensitive personal data the service does not ask for, such as health, religion or belief, political opinions, trade union membership, sexual orientation or criminal records, confidential material belonging to someone else, or fabricated evidence. Veilink removes or refuses such information where it detects it.

Employers must accurately describe the employer, the actual place of work, pay and material conditions, and comply with applicable employment, immigration, minimum-pay and anti-discrimination laws. Requirements or exclusions based on protected characteristics are not allowed. An agency must have the necessary authority for each role it handles; verifying an agency's business status does not certify that authority.

You must not use Veilink for unlawful discrimination, unlawful automated employment decisions, harassment, fraud, unsolicited bulk outreach, scraping, unauthorized data extraction, re-identification, impersonation, or interference with security or other users. You must not bypass access or disclosure controls.

Anyone, including people without an account, can report information they believe is illegal or breaks these terms, as explained in "Reporting illegal content" below. These user obligations do not transfer Veilink's own legal responsibilities to users.

07

How we review and restrict content

Some checks are automated and happen before anything is shared. An AI check removes identifying details from free-text descriptions and asks you to revise text it cannot use safely, and a filter refuses sensitive personal data the service does not ask for. When this happens you are told at once and can change the text.

New matching on a person's profile pauses automatically after three consecutive delivered requests receive no response. You are told when this happens and can resume by reviewing your profile.

Other restrictions are decided by a person at Veilink after reviewing a report or a problem we find. We may hide, pause or block a position, a profile listing or a business offering, or restrict or close an account. We apply these rules diligently, objectively and proportionately, with due regard to the rights and legitimate interests of everyone involved, including freedom of expression and non-discrimination.

When we restrict information you provided or your account, we tell you what we restricted and for how long, the facts we relied on, whether automated means were used, and the ground in these terms or in law. You can ask support@veilink.ai for a review, and you can also go to court.

08

Reporting illegal content

Email support@veilink.ai with the subject "Notice of illegal content". Include why you believe the information is illegal, enough detail for us to find it (such as the company, position or offering name, or the reference in a Veilink message you received), your name and email address, and a statement that you believe in good faith that your notice is accurate and complete. Your name and email are not needed for a notice about the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children.

We confirm receipt, review the notice in a timely, diligent and objective way, and tell you our decision and how to seek redress. Notices are decided by a person, not by automated means.

Where information suggests a criminal offence involving a threat to someone's life or safety, we inform the competent law enforcement or judicial authorities.

10

Plans and payment

Individual access is free. Veilink does not charge a success fee for a hire. Using a free plan does not start a paid subscription.

Paid company plans are offered only for business purposes to organizations that complete work-email verification. They are not offered to consumers. If you are acting for a business, consumer withdrawal rights do not apply to a paid company plan; any mandatory rights that still apply to you are not affected.

Before you confirm a paid order, the checkout or company order shows the plan, price, billing currency, applicable taxes, billing interval, any trial, renewal terms, included allowances, payment recipient and how to cancel. Paid access begins only after the required order confirmation.

Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ in Estonia, acts as merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout and handles the sale, payment, tax and invoicing under its own terms. The seller is identified in the checkout and invoice. Veilink remains responsible for providing its service and for obligations the law places on it.

If an order renews automatically, you can stop future renewals through Billing or the cancellation method in your order. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent that charge. Unless the order or mandatory law says otherwise, a paid cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A trial may end when cancelled if that was clearly disclosed before it started.

When paid access ends, features above your remaining plan allowance may pause. Records are handled under the Privacy Policy rather than deleted only because you stop paying. If a payment fails, we explain the effect on paid access and give a reasonable opportunity to fix it where appropriate.

11

Your rights as a consumer

If you use Veilink as a consumer, for example as an individual using the free service, you keep the protections that mandatory consumer law in your country gives you, including in the UK. These include the right to a service that matches its description and is supplied with reasonable care and skill, and to required updates, including security updates. Remedies may include bringing the service into conformity at no charge or ending the agreement.

Contact support@veilink.ai to report a problem. Calling a feature beta, experimental or AI-assisted does not remove those protections. The absence of a hire or business outcome is not a failure to provide something we never promised.

12

Changes to the service and terms

We may make changes for legal compliance, security, compatibility, reliability or the development of the features described here. We explain material changes and their effective date in advance, in a notice you can keep where required. We do not retroactively change a concluded order or add a paid obligation without the required agreement.

For consumers, a change that goes beyond what is needed to keep the service in conformity must have a valid reason, involve no extra cost and meet applicable notice rules. If it negatively affects your access or use more than minimally, you may have a right to end the agreement without charge, as applicable law provides.

13

Suspension and ending the agreement

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful use, a security threat, unauthorized data handling, non-payment or a binding legal requirement. We act proportionately and explain the reason and how to ask for review, unless law or a substantiated security or investigation need prevents it. Urgent action may come before notice.

You may ask support@veilink.ai to review a restriction. Where a problem can reasonably be corrected, we give an appropriate opportunity to do so.

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. Account closure, erasure of personal data and the limited records we keep are explained in the Privacy Policy. You keep any legal right to obtain your data, including through the download in your account settings.

14

Your content and our service

You keep the rights you have in material you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, format and share that material to provide and secure the service according to your choices and the Privacy Policy. This is not permission to publish private material for advertising or to sell it.

We and our licensors keep the rights in Veilink's software, branding and other service materials. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your personal data to us or limits your data-protection rights.

15

Responsibility and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill and remain responsible for our obligations under law and this agreement. Participants are responsible for their own employment and commercial decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular result, but these limits do not excuse a failure to meet mandatory standards.

For consumers, our liability is determined by applicable law and no mandatory consumer remedy is excluded. For business customers, limitations agreed in a company contract apply only to the extent lawful.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or compensation under data-protection law.

16

Law and resolving disputes

The laws of the Republic of Korea govern this agreement, subject to the mandatory protections that apply to you. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EEA or the UK, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the law that would apply without it.

You may bring a consumer claim in the courts available to you under the applicable rules, including the courts where you live where those rules allow. We do not require consumers to accept exclusive Korean jurisdiction, mandatory private arbitration or a waiver of collective remedies available by law. Business disputes go to a competent court unless a lawful separate agreement says otherwise.

You may contact support@veilink.ai to try to resolve a complaint, but doing so is not required before you use a legal right.
